Fundamental Finance Academy
High School Workshops
Fundamental Finance Academy in Denver, CO, offers financial workshops geared specifically toward teens who are soon-to-graduate from high school or are recent high school graduates. Alumni from this workshop are prepared for the ‘real world’ of balancing a checkbook, paying bills on time, understanding credit, and knowing how to stay out of debt.
“Every 18 year old needs this education so they can get started on the right foot. This workshop eliminates learning financial lessons the hard way, and helps them get a leg up on saving and maintaining good credit.”
Fundamental Finance Academy is filling the gap between learning financial literacy through public education and not receiving any financial education at all. Although financial literacy is finally being taken seriously in public school systems, we have a long way to go. Give your graduate the gift of financial freedom by taking a financial workshop.

TESTIMONIALS from high school students for Fundamental Finance Academy:
“My name is Matt Cowley and I am a student in Mrs. Hill’s Health class at Peak to Peak Charter School. I wanted to thank you for taking a large chunk of your time to come talk to us about a very important subject. Before you came and talked to us, I knew very little about how to plan for the future and how to utilize my money wisely. I thought that money was simple, but now I see how horribly mistaken I was. Money can be very complicated, but that isn’t always a bad thing. You taught me to save my money, and make sure that I was secure in my spending. Now I know that just because I might not end up super rich, I can still live richly as long as I am strategic and cautious. I am now excited about college and life after college, and how I can thrive in this world. Your lesson was very informative, and I really appreciate it. I think that now I am prepared for the rest of my life. Thank you very much for your wisdom!” — Matthew W. C. – Lafayette, CO
“I want to thank you for coming into our health class and teaching us about finances. I never knew most of the things you mentioned, like the amount of insurance payments people have to make. I had no idea we had to pay for so much stuff after we move out. Also, I am glad someone told us about setting up retirements because I wouldn’t have known about doing that. I had a small understanding of how credit worked but you made it very clear and lucid. It’s kind of weird that no one would have told us about these things because that seems pretty important to me. I’m definitely going to get a job early and start saving for life and I am better equipped to survive finally because you came in.” — John B. – Denver, CO
“I am writing to tell you how much I appreciate you coming in and sharing your information with our class. I think you shared important knowledge with all of us. I think we are very fortunate to have learned about Roth IRA’s and 401(k)’s and taxes. It is something that most people don’t know until after college, but is very beneficial to know in high school. You have got me thinking about saving and taxes. I did not know a lot of stuff you talked about before you came in. So thank you for sharing your knowledge with me.” — Ian H. – Denver, CO

“I would like to thank you for coming in to talk to us about checks and balances. Before you came in I was mildly aware of how credit systems and other things worked. But now I know more about it than my parents do. I’m also glad that you came in because I think that if you had not come in my future would have been pretty messed up.” — Michael C. – Boulder, CO
“I would like to thank you for coming in to our health class and teaching us about money management. This is something that is rarely taught in school, yet is a significant aspect of adulthood and something that everyone has to deal with. I learned a lot about money from your lesson, and hopefully will make the right decisions regarding money in college and beyond. Thanks for your valuable lesson!” — Shay L. – Boulder, CO
“Thank you for coming into our class and teaching us about money management. This will undoubtedly change my actions throughout the remainder of high school and college. I learned a lot from your lecture and it will lessen my monetary concerns for the rest of my life. Thank you for teaching me to manage my money to my advantage.” — Zachary R. S. – Denver, CO
“Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to speak to our class. You shared a lot of valuable information that I hadn’t realized. My dad used to be a financial advisor, but there were things you talked about that made sense, even after my dad tried to explain them. So thank you for helping me understand more financial information.” — DJ B. – Denver, CO
